I love a challenge, I think I've said that in the past, but this is the first time that I was REALLY nervous for a cake.
1. I was given a family recipe to bake for the cake.
2. I was making it for a cake baker/decorator. 3. There were specific requests as far as color, product use, etc.
I'm not saying that the client was difficult, far from it. I just put a lot of pressure on myself to try and get this one right. Lucky for me I got GREAT feedback and the client was VERY pleased.
