First Birthday

This was a great cake to work on. It was a collaboration of designs that the birthday girls parents chose. It was vanilla pound, with vanilla buttercream and marshmallow fondant. The accents are all fondant except for the "1" which is modelling chocolate.

Fun on the farm

This was a super fun cake! The kids loved it to. It was for a friends, son's birthday. She had a farm themed party... look how great the table cloth matched! The cupcakes were the animals. The barn was half rice Krispy treats, half cake. The birthday boy was happy...so that's what counts!

Fun Birthday

I was asked to do a fun 'younger' bday cake for someone who didn't want the cake to dictate their age. :)

It's a mocha cake with chocolate buttercream and fondant accents...

Graduation Cake

I was initially asked to do a cake in the graduates school colors. About a week or two before the order was due I received an email saying scrap the school colors and do something fun. The graduate wants the cake to reflect her, her personality, her favorite colors and not her boring old school colors. I ended up having a lot of fun with this cake and the client really liked it.

School's Out for Summer

I was asked to do a cake for a young girl's end of school pool party. Sadly, her pool party got cancelled so her Mom brought the cake to school (on the last day) for her and her friends. I guess it was a hit, and hopefully it was able to make up for her cancelled party.

Everything you see is edible.

Another bum...

Another Baby rump cake. I do enjoy each of these and have fun trying to make each cake unique. It's a mocha cake with chocolate buttercream and fondant accents.

Baby Shower

Cute Baby Shower cake... Covered in marshmallow fondant, with marshmallow fondant accessories, all hand made and edible!

Tiered Minnie Mouse

Minnie Mouse strawberry yogurt cake with whipped cream frosting. The name and ears are made of modelling chocolate and the rest are fondant accents.

Super Mario

Who knew super Mario was coming back? I sure didn't. it was a super fun cake to work on though!

Vanilla pound cake with vanilla buttercream and fondant accents. Super Mario character is hand made with fondant!

Lillies...

Oreo cookie cake with whipped cream frosting. Lillies are hand made with homemade sugarpaste. Everything is edible!

Diego

Go Diego Go... cake is covered in vanilla buttercream with marshmallow fondant accents.

Hold on to your seats...

I'm about to flood this place with new cake pics. I guess it's been far too long since I've posted and the pics have piled up... sit back, and enjoy the cakes.

As an FYI...things are getting back to normal. Nausea and fatigue are slowly fading which has made way for more energy which means I can start accepting more cake orders. (applause) If you have an event coming up and need a cake, give me a shout (call/email). Hope to hear from you soon....

Biggest and Best Creation...

Hi Everyone...
I know I haven't posted in ages. I have been doing cakes...haven't taken many photos and I've been working on fewer cakes because that's all I've been able to handle. Why you may ask?

Well I've been working on a brand new creation for over 3 months now...

It's still in the baking process but should be complete sometime in January or February. Our entire family is very excited... in fact, here's my daughter with her new shirt... she's so proud!

I have been VERY sick. It has not been fun. That is the main reason that I've had to decrease my cake load. I hope you all understand. Please do not hesitate to contact me... I'm still very interested in doing cakes, however my availability fills up a tad quicker since I only accept a limited number. I hope you're all having a great summer and hope to receive a cake order from you soon! :)

Cheers!
Kim
