Mermaid cake - Tough customer

This was a big order. Not only was it my first order of the year, or 10 days after having a baby. It was for my daughter who must have been telling me she's wanting a mermaid cake for at least 6 months now. Lucky for me she was VERY pleased with the cake. I'm pleased with it too, given we had a newborn in the house!

Birthday girls favorite colors are pink and purple. She decided on a chocolate mermaid cake with vanilla buttercream. Barbies are real, Mermaid tail/fin is fondant along with all other accessories. Hope she loves it!

Princess and the Frog

Here's the Princess and the Frog cake.
Princess is chocolate fudge cake with buttercream frosting covered in marshmallow fondant. Frog and lily pad are marshmallow fondant. Base is fondant painted blue.

Barbie Birthday Cake

Here's a cake for a little girl turning 4. It's my first barbie cake... I'd like to make a few changes for next time. Otherwise, I think it looks decent.
