My Dad's retirement cake. Topper is a fondant "Dad" driving a golf cart. The cake is called "road of life". The road follows signs with different milestones in Dad's life. Speed limit signs indicate his age when he accomplished those milestones.

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Take 2
What are the chances of getting 2 clubhouse cakes 2 days a part for 2, 3 year old boys. Not only that, both clients sent me photos and the bottom tier of the second is IDENTICAL to the cake the first client sent me.
Top tier is chocolate fudge, bottom tier is one layer vanilla pound, one layer chocolate fudge. Covered in Vanilla buttercream and fondant. Mickey Mouse clubhouse cake...with tootles on top. :) So much fun to make! Happy Birthday Reid!

Wilderness camp Cake
Birthday cake for a girl who's going to a wilderness camp where they're going canoeing and fishing etc... Cake is vanilla pound, covered in buttercream with butercream trees (on ice cream cones) and a few piped. Fondant waterfall, girl, boat, sign, flowers and bunny. :)

The cake is Fudge surprise with cookies and cream filling. I have a new recipe for my cookies and cream filling. I'm a huge fan of it with chocolate cake, not too sweet, and OH SO yummy!

I had NO idea how far behind I was posting to this blog. Time has not exactly been plentiful lately. Funny how that happens with 2 kids! I'll take some time to post my new cakes... it may take a while...
